Providing affirming and culturally sensitive individual therapy and immigration evaluations for individuals living in Oregon.

Vanessa Servellón

Hello & welcome!

My name is Vanessa Servellón, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the owner of Luna Therapy.

I was born in El Salvador, and have lived in Oregon since 2002. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, identify as Latina and use she/her pronouns. Growing up, certain emotions were stigmatized and therapy was never a part of the conversation. I sought out therapy on my own, to better understand myself and my experience, and through that, I discovered the power and healing that therapy can facilitate.

I offer individual therapy for adults who live in Oregon, and currently offer therapy virtually via video. I also offer immigration evaluations which are also completed virtually.

Some people are surprised when they see me because I look younger than I am. I have worked in the mental health field for many years and the majority of my experience is working with adults with anxiety, trauma, body image issues, disordered eating and BIPOC & immigrant communities. The therapy approaches I’m trained in are EMDR, ACT, CBT and Intuitive Eating. I have also completed advanced training in immigration evaluations by The Immigration Evaluation Training Center with Georgia King.

You might…

  • have had a difficult childhood that’s affecting your adult life

  • experienced something traumatic as an adult

  • feel nervous or anxious

  • struggle with your relationship with food & your body.

Together we can process these experiences, find healing, discover ways to cope and make the changes you wish to see in your life.

It’s important to feel connected with the therapist you are working with. I encourage you to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see if I am the right fit for you.

My Approach

My practice is inclusive, gender affirming, welcoming to all body sizes, and provides culturally responsive services. I believe in including your whole self in therapy, which can include your background, values, beliefs, identity and any other important aspects that make up who you are.

I value feedback in our work together and hope to create a safe space where you are able to share how it’s going for you.

Much like the moon, we all go through different stages in our lives and I will use therapy approaches that are both a good fit for you and your experiences.
